About the Role

Our client seeks a sharp and analytical Property Investment Analyst to join their growing team in Sunderland . This role is instrumental in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities within the real estate market. You will conduct comprehensive financial modeling, market research, and due diligence to support strategic investment decisions. Working closely with the acquisitions team, you will provide critical insights that drive portfolio growth and profitability in the North East region. This hybrid role offers a balance of focused analytical work and collaborative team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze real estate market data, trends, and economic indicators to identify profitable investment opportunities.
• Develop detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, sensitivity analysis, and ROI calculations for potential acquisitions.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on target properties, assessing risks, potential returns, and legal/regulatory compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive investment reports and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
• Monitor the performance of existing portfolio assets, providing regular updates and recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including acquisitions, legal, and asset management, to ensure successful deal execution and portfolio management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Property Investment Analyst or in a related financial analysis role.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and real estate analysis software.
• In-depth understanding of the Sunderland and wider UK property market.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
