Property Manager

Remote (must live locally to Cambridge for property inspections)
Our client is a modern residential lettings and property management company based in Cambridge founded by landlords, for landlords.
As their portfolio continues to expand, they are looking for an experienced and highly organised Property Manager to join the team and play a key role in supporting their landlords, tenants and contractors.
You will act as a key point of contact, ensuring maintenance issues are dealt with efficiently, tenancies are managed professionally and the company’s high standards of customer service is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities will include:
- Respond to tenant and landlord enquiries via telephone and email
- Handle incoming calls and provide a high standard of customer service
- Manage day-to-day property-related correspondence
- Build positive relationships with landlords and tenants
- Respond to new tenant enquiries and qualify applicants
- Schedule and coordinate viewings
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries and applicant activity
- Receive, log and manage maintenance issues
- Liaise with contractors and obtain quotations where required
- Coordinate appointments, monitor progress and follow up on outstanding works
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Personal specification:
- Experience within residential property management or lettings administration
- ARLA/NFoPP would be advantageous
- Knowledge of residential lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent administrative skills
- Exceptional organisational and prioritising ability
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good attention to detail
- Live locally to Cambridge for occasional property visits
- Full UK driving licence and your own car.
This is a fully remote property management position. Comprehensive training will be provided, with regular video meetings, screen-sharing sessions and ongoing support to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Our client encourages open communication and collaboration, with regular team meetings to keep everyone aligned and connected.
The salary for this property management role will be £30,000–£35,000 starting salary, depending on experience and qualifications, with structured salary progression linked to portfolio growth, performance and level of responsibility .
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm.
