An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded independent estate agency in Limehouse. This is an ideal position for a customer-focused Property Manager who enjoys building strong relationships, coordinating maintenance and delivering an excellent service to landlords and tenants. The role is fully office-based with no property inspections required, allowing you to focus on the effective day-to-day management of your portfolio.
The Role
As Property Manager, you will take responsibility for a residential portfolio and act as the main point of contact for landlords, tenants and contractors throughout the tenancy. Your responsibilities will include:- Managing maintenance issues from initial report through to completion
- Troubleshooting problems and arranging the appropriate repairs
- Liaising with landlords, tenants and approved contractors
- Obtaining quotations and seeking landlord approval for works
- Monitoring outstanding maintenance and ensuring works are completed promptly
- Providing regular and professional updates to all parties
- Managing tenancy renewals and tenancy-related enquiries
- Monitoring safety certificates and property compliance
- Handling deposit queries and supporting end-of-tenancy matters
- Resolving complaints and challenging situations professionally
- Maintaining accurate notes and records on the company CRM
- Delivering consistently high standards of customer service
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:- Previous residential property management experience
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance and repair processes
- A clear understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The confidence to manage difficult conversations and resolve problems
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to prioritise a busy workload
- A professional, calm and solutions-focused approach
- Good attention to detail and accurate administration skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
