About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a significant portfolio of residential properties in Reading and surrounding areas. This senior role requires a strategic approach to maximizing property value, ensuring high occupancy rates, and delivering exceptional service to both landlords and tenants. You will manage a team of property managers and administrators, driving performance and upholding the company's reputation for excellence within the Berkshire property market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance and profitability of the entire property portfolio.
- Manage and mentor a team of property management professionals, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing support.
- Oversee budget management, financial reporting, and rent collection for all properties in the portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews, identifying risks and opportunities for growth and improvement in Reading .
Requirements
- Extensive experience in residential property management , with a proven track record in portfolio management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of landlord-tenant legislation, property maintenance, and financial management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in property management software and data analysis tools.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, ARMA) is advantageous.
