Property Portfolio Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties in and around Sunderland . You will be responsible for maximising the value and performance of each asset, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing all aspects of property operations. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can effectively balance office responsibilities with site visits and client interactions, contributing to the strategic growth and efficient management of our client's real estate holdings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a property portfolio, including maintenance, repairs, and tenant relations.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance property value and rental income.
• Oversee budget management, financial reporting, and cost control for each property.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and lease agreements.
• Liaise with legal, leasing, and maintenance teams to resolve property-related issues promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or asset management within the real estate sector.
• Strong understanding of landlord and tenant legislation and best practices.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and financial performance metrics effectively.
• Proficiency in property management software and standard office applications.
