About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and commercially astute Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse range of properties in and around Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be responsible for maximizing the performance of the portfolio, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing all aspects of property operations and financial performance. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail, working within a leading property management firm that values integrity and client-centric service. You will be instrumental in maintaining high occupancy rates and ensuring the long-term value of the assets under your management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of a commercial and residential property portfolio.
- Develop and implement strategies for tenant acquisition, retention, and rent collection.
- Manage property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant property management regulations and legal requirements.
- Prepare regular financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Conduct regular property inspections and liaise with tenants and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management or a related field.
- Proven success in managing a substantial property portfolio.
- Strong understanding of landlord-tenant laws and property maintenance best practices.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience with property management software.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant professional qualification such as RICS or equivalent is advantageous.
