Property Portfolio Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties in the Cambridge area. This senior role involves optimizing the financial performance and operational efficiency of the entire portfolio, working closely with asset managers, leasing teams, and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing and implementing long-term strategies to enhance asset value, manage risk, and ensure tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of the property market, and a proven ability to drive successful outcomes in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for the portfolio to maximize returns and asset value.
• Oversee all aspects of property operations, including maintenance, security, and tenant relations.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and performance analysis for individual properties and the portfolio as a whole.
• Lead and mentor property management teams, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
• Identify opportunities for property improvements, renovations, and capital expenditure projects.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in property portfolio management, asset management, or a senior property management role.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of the Cambridge property market and surrounding areas.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and diverse teams.
• Degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Finance, or a related discipline.
