About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a significant portfolio of properties from a remote capacity. This key role involves managing all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, maintenance, rent collection, and financial reporting, ensuring maximum return on investment for property owners. You will act as the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants, providing exceptional service and proactive management. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of property management best practices, and the ability to effectively manage a diverse portfolio remotely, supporting properties across various regions including Sunderland .

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of rental properties.
• Manage tenant relationships, addressing queries, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
• Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and inspections, managing external contractors effectively.
• Ensure timely rent collection and manage arrears, implementing appropriate recovery procedures.
• Prepare regular financial reports for property owners, detailing income, expenses, and portfolio performance.
• Conduct virtual property viewings and inspections, and manage the leasing process remotely.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Property Portfolio Management or a senior Property Management role.
• Strong understanding of landlord and tenant law, and property management best practices.
• Excellent financial acumen and experience with budgeting and reporting.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills for remote work.
• Proficiency in property management software and digital communication tools.
• Experience managing properties within the Sunderland region is a plus.
