Key Responsibilities

• Source, build, purchase, and rent all props required for theatrical productions.
• Maintain an organized inventory of all props, including storage, cataloging, and condition tracking.
• Collaborate with directors and designers to understand prop needs and ensure they align with the artistic vision.
• Oversee prop changes during rehearsals and performances, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Manage the props budget effectively, tracking expenses and seeking cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure all props are safe and functional for use by actors.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Props Master or in a similar stagecraft role.
• Proficiency in various crafting techniques, including woodworking, painting, and basic construction.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage budgets and work efficiently under production deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with directors, designers, and actors.
