Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (Full-time & Part-time opportunities available)
Start Date: September
Pay: £107.71 per day

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Are you considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Teaching, Speech and Language Therapy, or another child-focused profession?
Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school inGateshead , to recruit a passionate Psychology Graduate to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND from September.
This is an excellent opportunity to build meaningful experience within a supportive school environment, develop your understanding of SEND, and make a genuine difference to a child's learning, development and wellbeing.
Psychology Graduate - 1:1 SEND Support - Essential Criteria
- A degree in Psychology or a closely related subject.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, resilient and empathetic approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team while also working independently when required.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Must live locally to Gateshead/Whickham or be able to commute daily - no relocation.
