Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Wokingham
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £90 - £105 per day

A welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Wokingham is seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology graduate to gain hands-on experience within an education setting while developing skills relevant to future careers in educational psychology, clinical psychology, counselling, or SEN support.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
Support children with ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, and SEMH needs
Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally
Assist teachers with personalised learning and intervention strategies
Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environmentThe school is looking for a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant who is patient, empathetic, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people.
