Job Description
Protocol Education is recruiting a dedicated 1:1 SEND Support Assistant to work with a Reception pupil at a welcoming primary school in the Fawdon area. This role offers an excellent opportunity for Psychology graduates looking to gain hands-on experience supporting a child with additional needs in an educational setting.

What You'll Be Doing
Providing consistent 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil with SEND. Helping the pupil engage with classroom activities and routines. Supporting emotional regulation, communication and social development. Building a positive and trusting relationship with the child. Working alongside teaching staff to implement personalised support strategies. Who We're Looking For
Psychology graduates seeking experience within education, SEND or child development. Individuals with a genuine interest in behaviour, learning and development. Patient, resilient and empathetic professionals. Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
