Our client is seeking a seasoned Public Affairs Manager to join their team in Bristol . This pivotal role involves managing the organisation's relationships with government bodies, policymakers, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for monitoring legislative developments, developing advocacy strategies, and representing the company's interests. This hybrid role offers a dynamic work environment, blending strategic office-based collaboration with the flexibility of remote work, ensuring optimal engagement with both internal and external parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public affairs strategies to support the company's objectives.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the industry and advise stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, and industry associations.
- Prepare policy briefings, position papers, and advocacy materials.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public forums.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Public Affairs Manager , Government Relations Manager, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of the political and legislative landscape relevant to the industry.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience in policy analysis and advocacy campaign development.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
