Good Afternoon,
I am currently representing Slough Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for a Public Health Intelligence Officer – Community Safety this role will be based at: 25 Windsor Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 2EJ, Hybrid 2 days office based.
The right candidate will:
* Develop excellent working relationships with internal and external partners to maximise the population benefit of public health programmes, particularly in relation to community safety.
* Produce analytical reports for key stakeholders, including senior managers and service leads, to monitor performance and support evidence-based decision-making.
* Provide information, analysis and support on public health project and programme performance.
* Contribute to the strategic development and delivery of public health intelligence programmes and projects, including Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNAs).
* Analyse quantitative and qualitative data across all areas of work to identify trends, outcomes, performance and areas for improvement.
* Produce performance analysis to support performance reports, dashboards, presentations and other management information.
* Undertake forecasting, demand management and needs analysis to support service planning and decision-making.
* Contribute to the development of key public health documents, including Health and Wellbeing Board papers, needs assessments and health impact assessments.
We require the following:
* Significant experience of evaluating projects, particularly preventive programmes and community-based health interventions.
* Experience of successfully influencing and negotiating with senior partners and key stakeholders to deliver change and improve services.
* Experience of managing, monitoring and reporting on project outcomes and budgets.
