Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger professional looking for a role where you can take ownership, lead a small team and make a real impact?

We are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join a successful and growing business in Leeds. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role with responsibility for a small team, key client relationships and multiple UK and international entities.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Purchase Ledger function, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and efficiently, whilst supporting the team and wider business.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing and supporting a small Purchase Ledger team Taking ownership of the end-to-end Purchase Ledger process Managing key client and supplier relationships Processing invoices, payments, reconciliations and resolving queries Working across multiple UK and international entities Monitoring workloads, deadlines and team performance Producing regular reporting and providing accurate information to the wider business Supporting process improvements and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency Playing a key role in a new system upgrade and implementation Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and improvements

We're looking for someone with solid Purchase Ledger experience who is confident taking ownership of a busy function and supporting others.

You'll ideally have:

Strong Purchase Ledger experience Previous experience of supervising or leading a small team Good understanding of the full Purchase Ledger process Experience working with multiple entities would be advantageous Strong communication and relationship-building skills Excellent attention to detail and organisation A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement Confidence working with systems and supporting system changes/upgrades This is a great opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger professional who wants to step into a Team Leader role with genuine responsibility, whilst being involved in business improvements
