About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Manage and mentor the purchasing team, setting performance objectives and providing regular feedback.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement meets business needs effectively.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a purchasing management role , with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience with procurement software and ERP systems is essential.
