Referment is partnering with a venture-backed AI startup building AI-powered cybersecurity products.

Deep technical focus on hard engineering and complex backend architecture
Strong Python backend fundamentals with high-level application of tools like FastAPI, Django, or Flask
Senior-level technical sophistication beyond routine maintenance tasks
Verifiable track record of technical contributions and honest project claims, such as active GitHub or OSS presence
React experience or willingness to work across the frontend
Startup mentality with genuine product ownership
Around 3-6 years of experience focused on engineering depth
Candidates primarily focused on product management or innovation titles rather than hands-on engineering are not a fit
Candidates who consider routine infrastructure maintenance their core focus are not a fit
Candidates who need detailed specs before starting work are not a fit
Candidates who only enjoy one part of the stack are not a fit
Candidates who avoid production responsibility are not a fit
Candidates looking for a comfortable corporate engineering role are not a fit
