It designs, builds, and operates turnkey capabilities spanning airborne ISR, electronic warfare, secure communications, aerial refueling, special air missions, aerial firefighting, and advanced simulation. The Digital and Synthetic Group provides mission-driven information solutions that bridge digital and physical realms, including geospatial data processing and visualisation software.
Задачи:
- Assist with refining user stories through a testing lens;
- Define test strategies for complex products and projects;
- Clarify acceptance criteria with product and engineering teams;
- Scope and write test cases;
- Estimate testing effort for user stories;
- Execute manual software tests;
- Help define and execute the team’s test strategy;
- Create and maintain test plans and related documentation;
- Create and maintain automation scripts;
- Support testers and developers with broader system testing;
- Champion Quality Engineering best practices;
- Coordinate and collaborate with testers across teams.
Требования:
- Hands-on experience in software development and/or QA testing;
- Extensive experience testing web, Windows desktop, and command-line applications;
- Experience leading and defining test strategies for complex products and projects;
- Enthusiasm for team delivery in an Agile environment;
- Continuous learning mindset;
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to task administration and documentation;
- Meticulous attention to detail;Shift-left testing approach and willingness to participate throughout the full user-story lifecycle;
- Ability to upskill less experienced QA Engineers;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with technical and non-technical team members;
- Legal right to work in the UK and ability to provide right-to-work documentation;
- Nice to have: experience with geospatial visualisation products, manual and automation testing experience, practical experience with Typescript, practical experience with Playwright, practical experience with BDD processes, knowledge of git and source control strategies, familiarity with Azure DevOps.
