CV Screen is recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a QA Test Analyst to join an innovative technology business based in Rugby. The organisation develops cloud-based software and consultancy solutions that help businesses navigate complex environmental compliance requirements, including packaging legislation, plastics taxes and Extended Producer Responsibility. Duties & Responsibilities
- Create and execute comprehensive test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Carry out functional, regression, integration, performance and security testing to maintain high software quality.
- Analyse test outcomes, identify potential risks and work with developers to investigate and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the Agile lifecycle, contributing to testing strategies and continuous improvement.
- Investigate system issues, communicate findings to stakeholders and support junior team members with testing techniques and tools.
What Experience is Required
- 5+ years' manual testing experience, with strong knowledge of frontend and backend testing approaches.
- Experience with databases including MS SQL and DynamoDB, data validation, ETL and integration testing, including microservices, Lambda or JSON.
- Experience with AWS/serverless technologies and an understanding of software release risks; ISTQB Foundation is desirable.
