Qualified Nursery Assistant

Speke (L25), Liverpool | Full-Time | Immediate Start

Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and nurturing early years setting in Speke, Liverpool (L25), to recruit a qualified Nursery Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children's development during their crucial early learning journey. The role is due to start immediately and offers the opportunity to become a valued member of a supportive and experienced team.

The Role

• Support children aged 0-5 with their learning, development and daily routines
• Deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children
• Encourage children's social, emotional and communication development
• Support observations, assessments and learning records
• Work closely with colleagues and parents to support children's progress
• Assist with personal care when required

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Has previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping children thrive and reach their potential
