Academics is currently recruiting caring, reliable, and qualified Nursery Assistants to support a nurturing nursery in Cheltenham.

This Qualified Nursery Assistant opportunity is ideal for individuals who have a genuine passion for working with young children and hold a relevant childcare qualification. Whether you are an experienced Nursery Assistant or looking to develop your career within early years education, this position offers the chance to make a positive impact on children's early development.

Your Role:

• Support daily nursery routines and activities
• Encourage children through play-based learning
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment
• Assist with children's early years development and well-being
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Follow safeguarding and nursery policies and procedures

What We're Looking For:

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Positive, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude
• Good understanding of children's development and safeguarding
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check
