About the team:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicatedFostering Supervising Social Worker to join a fostering service and provide high-quality support and supervision to foster carers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker with fostering experience who is passionate about supporting foster carers and improving outcomes for children and young people.

About the role:

As a Fostering Supervising Social Worker, you will:

• Provide regular supervision, guidance and support to foster carers.
• Manage a caseload of foster carers and ensure their needs are appropriately assessed and supported.
• Undertake statutory and regulatory visits in line with fostering requirements.
• Monitor the quality of care provided to children and young people.
• Support foster cars through challenging situations and placement difficulties.
• Contribute to reviews of foster carers and their ongoing development.
• Work closely with children's social workers and other professionals to promote positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and produce high-quality reports.
• Ensure practice complies with relevant legislation, regulations, safeguarding requirements and fostering standards.
