Quality Assurance Analyst

About the Role

Our client, a leading provider of manufactured goods, is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team in Reading . This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development and production teams to ensure product integrity. This hybrid position allows for a blend of office-based collaboration and remote work, offering flexibility to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing products.
• Execute manual and automated testing procedures to identify software and hardware defects.
• Document defects clearly and concisely, tracking them through to resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on product quality and performance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in a Quality Assurance or Testing role.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
