Quality Assurance Auditor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Auditor to join their team in Edinburgh . This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and quality of our client's pharmaceutical products and processes. You will be responsible for conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and other relevant quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and efficacy of medicines, upholding the company's commitment to excellence and regulatory adherence in the heart of Edinburgh .

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute internal and external quality audits according to established audit programs.
• Assess compliance with GMP, GCP, GDP, and other applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, identifying non-conformities and recommending corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Follow up on CAPAs to ensure timely and effective implementation by audited parties.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Train and mentor less experienced auditors as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience in conducting audits, preferably with a strong understanding of GMP/GCP principles.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements from agencies such as the EMA and FDA.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and report-writing abilities.
• Willingness to travel for external audits as required.
