Quality Assurance Engineer- Service Desk and Processes

Our client, a pioneering organisation within the aerospace sector, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer specialising in Service Desk and Processes to support the continual improvement of operational standards and service delivery. This permanent role will focus on quality assurance, process compliance and the enhancement of service desk performance within a technology-driven aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities

Developing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes for service desk operations Reviewing service desk procedures to ensure consistency, compliance and effective customer support Monitoring service performance, identifying trends and recommending appropriate improvements Conducting quality reviews, audits and process assessments across relevant support functions Documenting findings, preparing reports and tracking corrective and preventative actions Working collaboratively with technical, operational and business teams to improve service processes Supporting the creation and maintenance of service standards, procedures and knowledge documentation Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and quality across the organisation

Job Requirements:

Experience in quality assurance, service management or process improvement Strong understanding of service desk operations, incident management and support processes Ability to assess procedures, identify quality issues and implement practical improvements Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality control Confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams Experience producing quality reports, performance metrics and process documentation Awareness of quality, compliance and continuous improvement principles within a technical or aerospace environment
