Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join their manufacturing team in Sheffield . This on-site role is essential for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and analyzing data to identify and resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of quality management systems and a commitment to excellence in a manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.
• Manage and maintain quality documentation and records.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering) or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency with quality control tools and techniques, such as SPC and FMEA.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
