Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Our client is searching for a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead their quality control efforts at the Manchester manufacturing site. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality management systems to ensure all products meet rigorous standards. This role is critical in upholding the company's reputation for excellence and driving customer satisfaction through superior product quality. You will work closely with production, engineering, and R&D teams to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) .
• Oversee all quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and process audits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of quality consciousness.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues and improve product reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in Quality Assurance, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience with QMS frameworks such as ISO 9001.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
