Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality systems and compliance for their pharmaceutical operations in Brighton, East Sussex . This hybrid role involves a blend of on-site oversight and remote strategic management, ensuring adherence to GMP and other relevant quality standards. You will lead a team, conduct audits, manage deviations, and implement quality improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. This is a vital position for safeguarding patient safety and the company's reputation in a highly regulated industry, working within a dynamic quality assurance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with GMP and other applicable regulations.
• Lead and manage internal and external audits of manufacturing sites, suppliers, and service providers.
• Oversee the investigation of deviations, non-conformances, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes.
• Ensure all quality-related activities are documented accurately and thoroughly, maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or technical discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Proven experience in managing quality systems, conducting audits, and leading QA teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
