Quality Assurance Manager – Cladding & Facades
Location: SE1, London Position: Permanent Start: Immediate Sector: Commercial & Residential Construction
We are currently working with an established construction client specialising in commercial and residential projects, who are looking to appoint an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a QA professional with a strong background in cladding and facades, looking to take on a key role within a growing and project-focused organisation.
The Role
As Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing quality standards across projects, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications, drawings, regulations and client requirements.
You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures across projects.
*
Oversee quality standards relating to cladding, facades and associated building envelope works.
*
Review project specifications, drawings, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality documentation.
*
Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits.
*
Identify, record and manage defects, non-conformances and corrective actions.
*
Work closely with site and project management teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and achieved.
*
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers regarding quality matters.
*
Ensure all relevant documentation, records and handover information are maintained accurately.
*
Support continuous improvement across project delivery and quality processes.
*
Ensure works comply with relevant legislation, standards, specifications and project requirements.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
*
Proven experience working within a Quality Assurance / Quality Control role in construction.
*
Crucial: significant experience with cladding and facades projects.
*
Experience working across commercial and/or residential construction projects.
*
Strong understanding of construction quality processes, inspections and documentation.
*
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
*
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*
The confidence to challenge quality issues and drive corrective action where required.
*
Relevant construction or quality qualifications would be advantageous.
