Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Quality Assurance Manager to lead their QA operations in Nottingham . This senior role is responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations. You will oversee all QA activities, including audits, inspections, deviation management, and change control, playing a vital part in upholding the integrity and quality of the company's products and processes. This is a leadership opportunity for a dedicated quality professional to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with cGMP and other relevant regulations.
• Lead and manage internal and external audits, supplier qualifications, and regulatory inspections.
• Oversee the deviation investigation and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) process.
• Manage change control procedures to ensure controlled implementation of changes.
• Provide QA oversight for manufacturing, laboratory, and validation activities.
• Train and mentor QA personnel and support quality awareness throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of cGMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in managing audits, inspections, deviations, and change control systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
