Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality control and assurance processes for their FMCG products in Sheffield . This critical role ensures that all products meet stringent quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. You will lead a team, implement robust QA systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest levels of product integrity and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee all quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., BRC, ISO).
• Manage and train the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
• Investigate quality deviations and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to embed quality into all processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in the FMCG industry .
• Proven experience in implementing and managing QMS, HACCP, and other quality standards.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for food and consumer products.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with auditing and managing corrective actions.
