About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Quality Assurance Manager to lead their quality initiatives from a remote capacity. This leadership role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality management systems across all manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, driving continuous improvement in quality performance, and leading a team of quality assurance professionals. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in quality management, strong leadership acumen, and a deep commitment to product excellence, working effectively in a distributed team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's overall Quality Management System (QMS).
- Oversee all quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and audits, to ensure product conformity.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process enhancement.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and other departments to integrate quality considerations into product development and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Sciences); Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, relevant industry-specific standards).
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, suitable for a remote management role.
- Experience with auditing and regulatory compliance.
