About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and strategic Quality Assurance Manager to lead their quality initiatives at their manufacturing site in Bristol . This leadership role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's quality management system to ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will lead a team of QA professionals, drive continuous improvement, and champion a culture of quality throughout the organization. This is a key position for an experienced QA leader.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage the overall Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, setting performance goals and providing development opportunities.
Oversee all quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and process audits.
Investigate quality deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers on quality-related matters.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance management within the manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
Proven experience in leading QA teams and implementing successful CAPA programs.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
