Quality Assurance Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join their dedicated team in Norwich, Norfolk . This role is essential for ensuring that all products manufactured meet rigorous internal and external quality standards. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems, conducting audits, and working proactively to prevent quality issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality management principles and a commitment to driving continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's quality assurance procedures and protocols.
• Conduct regular internal audits of manufacturing processes and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Monitor product quality from raw materials to finished goods, identifying and addressing any deviations.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes.
• Maintain all quality-related records and documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and audit procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
