Quality Assurance Specialist (Pharmaceuticals)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join their expanding pharmaceutical operations, based in Southampton , but this role is fully remote. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all pharmaceutical products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout their lifecycle. This includes reviewing documentation, participating in audits, and contributing to the continuous improvement of quality systems. Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve batch records, specifications, and other quality-related documentation.
• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GMP).
• Investigate deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Support the validation and qualification of equipment, processes, and analytical methods.
• Maintain and update the quality management system (QMS) to ensure its effectiveness.
• Provide training to personnel on quality assurance procedures and principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP, regulatory guidelines, and quality systems.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and quality control.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setup.
