Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

Our client, a reputable name in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector , is seeking a meticulous and driven Quality Assurance Specialist to join their established operations in Portsmouth . This role is integral to upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance across all manufacturing processes and product lines. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's quality management system, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and other relevant standards.
• Investigate deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Review and approve batch records, validation protocols, and change control documents.
• Ensure all quality-related activities are documented accurately and compliantly.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and other departments to foster a culture of quality excellence in Portsmouth .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Strong understanding of GMP, ISO 13485 , and other relevant quality standards.
• Experience with audits, CAPA systems, and document control.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team in Portsmouth .
