Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team, working remotely with occasional visits to their facility in Brighton . This role is crucial for maintaining and improving the company's quality management systems and ensuring that all products and processes meet regulatory and customer requirements. You will be responsible for developing QA strategies, conducting audits, analyzing quality data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) .
• Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and report findings to management.
• Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and customer service teams to address quality issues.
• Develop and deliver quality training programs to relevant personnel.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or similar role, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing QMS, including knowledge of standards like ISO 9001 .
• Experience with audit procedures and data analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action (CAPA) processes.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
