Quality Assurance Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and technically skilled Quality Assurance Technician to contribute to their manufacturing excellence in Portsmouth . You will play a vital role in ensuring that all manufactured products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves conducting various tests, inspections, and analyses throughout the production process, as well as supporting quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality checks and inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis as per established procedures and specifications.
• Document all quality control activities, results, and non-conformances accurately.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues and contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
• Support the Quality Assurance team in audits and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and testing methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording data.
• Proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment and measurement tools.
• Good understanding of basic statistical principles for quality analysis.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams.
