About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Tester to join their software development team in Reading . This role is integral to ensuring the high quality and reliability of our client's software products. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with developers to resolve them. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering flawless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using a defect tracking system.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and design test strategies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and methodologies.
• Ensure that all software releases meet the defined quality standards before deployment.

Requirements

• Proven work experience in Quality Assurance testing.
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking software (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
