About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to join their manufacturing team in Liverpool . This role is vital in ensuring that all pharmaceutical products manufactured meet the highest standards of quality and safety before they reach patients. You will perform a range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using sophisticated laboratory equipment. This is a hands-on position for someone passionate about quality assurance within the pharmaceutical sector, contributing to the reliable supply of essential medicines from their UK manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using methods such as HPLC, GC, and spectroscopy.
- Accurately document all test results, maintain laboratory notebooks, and ensure data integrity.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and properly qualified.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, participating in root cause analysis.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and dissolution testing.
- Familiarity with GMP regulations and laboratory documentation requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment in Liverpool .
