Quality Control Inspector - Automotive Parts

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their automotive parts manufacturing team in Manchester . This role is crucial in ensuring that all manufactured components meet stringent quality standards before they are dispatched to clients. You will be responsible for performing various inspection procedures, identifying defects, and documenting findings accurately. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using measurement tools.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure products conform to specifications.
• Identify, document, and report non-conforming products and deviations from quality standards.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and quality documentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role.
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools and techniques, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 or industry-specific quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team in Manchester .
