Quality Control Inspector - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products using various measuring instruments and techniques.
• Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement in the production process.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and engineers to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, test data, and quality reports.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in internal quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Control or inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in quality control are a plus.
