Quality Control Inspector - Manufacturing

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear . This vital role ensures that all manufactured products meet the company's stringent quality standards before they reach customers. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects, and working closely with production teams to implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of quality control methodologies, and a commitment to maintaining product excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods using various measurement tools and techniques.
• Identify, document, and report any non-conforming products or process deviations to the Quality Manager.
• Collaborate with production staff to understand product specifications and quality requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and participate in the development of corrective action plans.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, quality data, and traceability information.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Solid understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
