Quality Control Inspector

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join their team in Cardiff , Wales. In this crucial role within the Manufacturing & Production department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance before they reach the customer. You will conduct thorough inspections and tests, meticulously document findings, and work closely with the production team to address any quality issues. This position is ideal for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining product integrity in a busy manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
• Conduct routine quality tests using calibrated measuring equipment.
• Document inspection results accurately, maintaining detailed records of non-conformances.
• Identify and report any quality deviations to the Quality Manager and Production Supervisor.
• Collaborate with production staff to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of defects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role.
• Familiarity with quality control techniques and tools, including measurement devices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy, including MS Office.
