About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team in Coventry . This role is crucial in ensuring all manufactured products meet stringent quality standards and customer specifications before dispatch. You will be responsible for conducting various tests and inspections, documenting findings, and working closely with the production team to address any quality issues. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality assurance and possesses a keen eye for detail within a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using relevant measurement tools and techniques.
- Conduct routine quality tests and analyze results to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Document all inspection findings, non-conformances, and quality issues accurately and comprehensively.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality problems and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration records for all testing and measuring equipment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant inspection techniques.
- Proficiency with various measurement tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
