About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and diligent Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing facility in Southampton . This role is vital for ensuring that all manufactured products meet stringent quality standards and specifications before they reach the customer. You will conduct thorough inspections, identify defects, and work with production teams to implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to maintaining product integrity within the UK manufacturing industry .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods according to established quality plans.
• Utilize various measuring and testing equipment to verify product conformity to specifications.
• Accurately record inspection results, identifying and reporting any non-conforming products or processes.
• Collaborate with production personnel to address quality issues and implement preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all quality control activities and inspection records.
• Participate in quality audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality systems.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Control or inspection role within a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, including measurement devices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and standards in the UK .
