About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their team in Sheffield . You will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications. This role is crucial in maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with production teams and management, utilizing various inspection tools and techniques. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, balancing on-site inspections with remote reporting and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and report any non-conforming products or processes.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials to prevent their use or shipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using various measuring and testing equipment.
