Quality Control Inspector

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team in Newcastle upon Tyne . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products meet the company's stringent quality standards and specifications. You will conduct thorough inspections, identify defects, and work with the production team to resolve any quality issues promptly. This role is crucial for maintaining the reputation and integrity of our client's products, making it a key position within the operations department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and document non-conforming products and work with production to implement corrective actions.
• Utilize various measuring instruments and testing equipment for accurate assessments.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and reports, ensuring traceability.
• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of quality control procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within manufacturing.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
