About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing operations in Bristol . This role is crucial for ensuring that all manufactured products meet stringent quality standards and specifications before they are released to customers. You will conduct thorough inspections, identify defects, and work closely with production teams to implement corrective actions, playing a vital role in maintaining the company's reputation for quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods using various measuring tools and techniques.
- Identify and document non-conforming products or materials, initiating the corrective action process.
- Ensure all quality control activities comply with company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality reports.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement preventative measures.
- Participate in internal audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality systems.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with various inspection tools and techniques (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus.
