An exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector, based in Portsmouth, to join a global leader specialising in high-tech electronic technologies.

The Quality Control Inspector, based in Portsmouth, will ensure all components meet quality standards before leaving the manufacturing area, preventing errors within the process to deliver a quality product to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out shopfloor inspections on product, ensuring customer specifications/industry standards are met (e.g., AS9100, MIL standards).
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures, validating product quality against internal & external standards.
• Use various measuring tools to ensure components/parts/products are within standard variances.
• Record inspection information and update the quality database as required.
• Raise non-conformance paperwork.
• Share findings of inspections with quality and production management individuals.
